As Singapore rides onto the tidal wave into establishing electric vehicle (EV) landscape, Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has closed the nation’s first pilot tender on building the city-state’s eco-system to support the mass up-take on electric vehicles in the very near future. It will cover the installation and operation of more than 600 electric vehicle charging points at more than 200 public car parks in Singapore, including those at public housing estates, industrial estates, public parks and community centres.
Our Co-founder and Managing Director, Edgare Kerkwijk shared his view on CNA TV news. Click here for full video.
While URBAN RENEWABLES‘ focus is greatly on the commercial and industrial sector, our EV solution business arm URBAN Charge, also participated in the said tender with an intention to better serve the greater public’s interests.
